Antihypertensive Drugs (Diuretics)
Thiazide diuretics are considered first-line drugs for mild to moderate hypertension and as add-on drugs when more than one drug is needed to control hypertension.
Common drugs: Hygroton, Lozol (Diuretics), Zaroxolyn, HCTZ and more
Common health state: Metabolic Syndrome , Hypertension (high blood pressure) , Edema

Magnesium  Dosage chart

Thiazide diuretics can increase magnesium loss and reduce serum levels. This is more likely to occur with higher diuretic doses or when used in combinations with other antihypertensive drugs.Consult with healthcare provider regarding appropriate magnesium supplementation, necessary labs and monitoring schedule.
Potassium  Dosage chart

Thiazide diuretics can increase potassium loss and reduce serum levels. This is more likely to occur with higher diuretic doses or when used in combinations with other antihypertensive drugs. Zinc  Dosage chart

Calcium

Thiazides reduce calcium excretion by the kidneys. Using thiazides together with moderate to high doses of calcium increases the risk for hypercalcemia, metabolic alkalosis and renal failure. Consult with healthcare provider regarding appropriate calcium doses, and necessary labs.
